Role Overview
A growing organisation is seeking a Performance Marketing Manager to lead and execute paid acquisition strategies across multiple digital channels. This is a fully remote role, offering South African professionals the opportunity to work on global campaigns while driving measurable growth.
The position is highly hands-on and focuses on managing budgets, developing creative strategies, and using data to optimise performance. The successful candidate will play a key role in improving customer acquisition cost, conversion rates, and return on ad spend through structured experimentation.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Management and Execution
- Plan, launch, and optimise paid campaigns across platforms such as Google, Meta, LinkedIn, and TikTok
- Allocate and manage budgets effectively across channels and campaigns
Creative and Landing Page Development
- Oversee the creation of landing pages and ad creatives
- Develop and refine audience targeting strategies
Testing and Optimisation
- Run continuous testing across creatives, audiences, and bidding strategies
- Implement a structured experimentation approach to improve campaign outcomes
Performance Tracking and Reporting
- Monitor key metrics including customer acquisition cost, return on ad spend, and lifetime value
- Provide regular performance reports and insights
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with creative, lifecycle marketing, and analytics teams to align growth strategies
Required Skills and Qualifications
- At least four years of experience managing paid acquisition campaigns at scale with budgets exceeding $1 million annually
- Strong hands-on experience with platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, and LinkedIn Ads
- Solid analytical skills with an understanding of attribution models and incrementality testing
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics 4 and other tracking systems
- Experience briefing and guiding creative teams for paid campaigns
- A strong focus on testing, measurement, and continuous improvement
