Job Overview
The company is seeking an experienced SEO Specialist to improve website visibility, increase organic traffic, and drive qualified leads across major search engines. In this role, the specialist will analyze website performance, track key SEO metrics, and translate data into actionable growth strategies. Responsibilities include executing both technical audits and on-page/off-page optimizations, including local SEO profiles and backlink campaigns. This is a full-time, remote position operating from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM EST.
Schedule
Mon-Fri, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm EST with 1 hour unpaid break (40 hours per week)
Core Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth keyword research to uncover opportunities for improving search engine rankings and driving organic website growth.
- Optimize website content, metadata, page headings, and URL structures to maximize search engine visibility and user experience.
- Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits and implement recommendations to improve website performance and crawlability.
- Monitor and evaluate SEO performance using industry-standard tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Moz.
- Develop, execute, and refine both on-page and off-page SEO strategies to support long-term organic growth.
- Plan, build, and manage backlink acquisition campaigns to strengthen domain authority and search engine rankings.
- Analyze competitor SEO performance to identify emerging trends, competitive advantages, and growth opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with content creators, web developers, and marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated across digital initiatives.
- Measure campaign performance, prepare regular SEO reports, and provide data-driven recommendations to improve results.
- Stay informed of the latest search engine algorithm updates, SEO best practices, and industry developments to maintain a competitive online presence.
Skills & Requirements
- Between 2 and 5 years of practical experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO), with experience managing multiple websites or digital marketing campaigns.
- Demonstrated success in increasing organic website traffic, improving keyword search rankings, and driving qualified lead generation through effective SEO strategies.
- Comprehensive knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO principles, including current industry best practices.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with content creators, web developers, and marketing teams to plan, implement, and optimize SEO initiatives.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred, although equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
