Skills & Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- An accredited TEFL, TESOL or CELTA certification of at least 120 hours.
- A minimum of six months’ teaching or tutoring experience.
- Access to a reliable computer and suitable teaching equipment.
- A professional, quiet and appropriate environment for conducting online lessons.
Technical Requirements
- Computer: An i5 processor or better, operating at 2.1 GHz or higher, with at least four performance cores, eight CPUs and 8 GB RAM.
- Internet: A stable fibre internet connection with minimum upload and download speeds of 20 Mbps.
- Connection: A direct LAN cable connection is required; Wi-Fi is not recommended.
- Backup Power: A UPS with approximately 4–5 hours of battery backup and a 2,000 VA capacity.
- Equipment: A noise-cancelling headset and HD webcam are required. Having a backup headset is also recommended.
- Workspace: A quiet, well-lit and professional workspace suitable for teaching online.
