Job Overview
This opportunity is suited to an experienced Paid Media Specialist who will take full ownership of planning, launching, managing, and optimizing paid advertising campaigns across both social media and search platforms for a growing portfolio of clients. The position offers end-to-end responsibility for campaign delivery, from strategic planning and campaign creation through to performance optimization and reporting.
The primary focus of the role is paid social advertising, requiring strong expertise in developing, managing, and scaling high-performing campaigns across Meta platforms. In addition, the successful candidate will oversee paid search initiatives using Google Ads, making proven search marketing knowledge equally important.
The role currently supports paid media activity for approximately five to six clients, predominantly within the property sector, with the client portfolio expected to expand to around ten accounts in the coming months. Most campaigns are delivered for smaller business-to-consumer property brands, including estate and letting agencies, while the largest client operates in the business-to-business market across both paid social and search. This position offers the opportunity to lead the agency’s paid media function and play a key role in shaping its future growth and development.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end setup, daily administration, and ongoing optimisation of paid social advertising campaigns across Meta platforms, including Facebook and Instagram.
- Plan, develop, and oversee paid search campaigns through Google Ads, including Search and Performance Max, while managing Microsoft Ads campaigns where applicable.
- Create audience targeting strategies, creative testing frameworks, and A/B testing initiatives to improve campaign performance across paid social and search channels.
- Oversee client advertising budgets, ensuring spend is allocated effectively to achieve campaign objectives and maximise return on investment.
- Implement and maintain accurate tracking and performance measurement using Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager, and Google Search Console.
- Prepare comprehensive, client-ready performance reports that present campaign results, actionable insights, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with account managers and cross-functional teams to ensure paid media campaigns align with each client’s wider marketing objectives and business strategy.
- Monitor industry developments, advertising platform updates, emerging ad formats, and best practices, providing strategic recommendations to enhance campaign effectiveness.
- Contribute paid media expertise to new business proposals, client audits, and pitch presentations, supporting business growth and client acquisition.
Skills & Requirements
- Approximately 2–3 years of practical experience managing paid social and paid search campaigns, preferably within a digital marketing or advertising agency environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in creating, managing, and optimising end-to-end paid social campaigns across Meta platforms, including Facebook and Instagram.
- Solid working knowledge of Google Ads, with experience managing Search and Performance Max campaigns.
- Proficiency in using Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager, and Google Search Console to implement tracking, measure campaign performance, and generate insights.
- Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts and advertising budgets simultaneously while maintaining high-quality campaign performance.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign data and translate findings into practical recommendations and optimisation strategies.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the confidence to present campaign performance, insights, and recommendations to clients in a clear and professional manner.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritise competing deadlines across multiple accounts.
Desirable:
- Previous experience managing advertising campaigns through LinkedIn Ads.
- Google Ads Certification and/or Meta Blueprint Certification.
- Experience delivering paid media campaigns for both B2B lead generation and B2C marketing initiatives.
- Familiarity with Looker Studio or comparable reporting and data visualisation platforms.
