Job Overview

The Digital Marketing Specialist plays a key role in driving the successful delivery, optimization, and performance analysis of client digital marketing campaigns for a leading global HubSpot Platinum Partner agency. This position is suited to a marketing professional with 2–4 years of experience managing paid advertising campaigns across search engine marketing (SEM), Meta, and LinkedIn platforms within a dynamic agency environment.

Working alongside experienced industry professionals, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with Marketing Consultants and Campaign Directors to support campaign strategy, execution, and ongoing performance improvements. Responsibilities include analyzing and optimizing advertising accounts, providing strategic recommendations, assisting with budget allocation decisions, and contributing to the achievement of client marketing objectives.

The role also involves supporting sophisticated multi-channel marketing initiatives across platforms such as Meta, LinkedIn, Google, Bing, and OTT/CTV. Additional duties include ensuring all campaign assets are prepared and delivered on schedule, coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines, and maintaining accurate records of campaign activities and performance metrics. The Digital Marketing Specialist is expected to contribute to the effective management and growth of client campaigns while helping to deliver measurable business results.

Core Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular analysis of digital marketing campaigns according to established review schedules, identify performance improvement opportunities, and ensure all optimization activities are accurately documented. Translate campaign data and insights into actionable recommendations that enhance overall results.
  • Provide strategic recommendations and contribute to advertising budget allocation decisions to maximize campaign effectiveness and return on investment.
  • Partner with Campaign Directors to support campaign setup, execution, and optimization efforts. Ensure all creative assets, tracking elements, and campaign components are properly implemented and ready for final quality assurance reviews.
  • Assist in the preparation, maintenance, and enhancement of client reporting presentations in collaboration with Marketing Operations teams and Marketing Consultants.
  • Support audience development and targeting strategies by working closely with Campaign Directors and third-party data providers to create, refine, and optimize audience segments.
  • Build a comprehensive understanding of each client’s business model, marketing objectives, and campaign strategies, while effectively managing multiple accounts with varying goals such as lead generation, customer acquisition, and brand awareness.
  • Coordinate and manage campaign testing initiatives, including experiment setup, implementation, monitoring, and performance evaluation.
  • Monitor active campaigns on an ongoing basis to ensure seamless full-funnel execution and optimal performance throughout the customer journey.
  • Review advertising platforms at designated intervals to verify budget pacing, spending accuracy, and campaign performance, while identifying and resolving any issues that may impact results.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between internal departments to ensure campaign requirements are met and project deadlines are achieved.
  • Maintain organized and detailed records of campaign optimizations, strategic recommendations, performance updates, and stakeholder feedback.
  • Assist Campaign Directors in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving platform-related issues, technical errors, and optimization recommendations to maintain campaign efficiency and effectiveness.

Skills & Requirements

  • A minimum of 2–4 years of hands-on experience managing and optimizing digital marketing campaigns within advertising platforms, with agency experience considered highly advantageous.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing campaigns across LinkedIn, Meta, and Demand-Side Platform (DSP) environments, including a strong understanding of display advertising strategies and best practices.
  • Practical experience using HubSpot or comparable marketing automation platforms to support campaign execution, lead nurturing, and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Working knowledge of Google Ads, search engine marketing (SEM), and search engine optimization (SEO) principles, with the ability to apply these concepts to improve campaign performance.
  • Experience developing and managing marketing automation assets, including audience lists, automated workflows, forms, and related campaign infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in campaign reporting and performance analysis, including the creation of reports, interpretation of data, and presentation of actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and optimization capabilities, coupled with exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate insights, recommendations, and campaign updates to internal teams and clients.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision while also contributing effectively within collaborative, cross-functional teams.

  • Previous experience working within a digital marketing, advertising, or performance marketing agency environment.
