About the Etalking Online
Etalking Online is a Taiwan-based online English learning platform that delivers engaging and interactive English lessons through one-on-one and small group virtual classes.
The organisation is currently seeking enthusiastic and dependable Online English Teachers to become part of its Kids Programme team, working with students between the ages of 4 and 18.
Job Overview
The selected candidates will be responsible for delivering online English lessons to young learners in either one-on-one sessions or small group classes consisting of 2–4 students.
Teachers will be expected to follow the company’s provided lesson materials and teaching structure while creating a fun, interactive, and supportive learning environment for students.
Additional responsibilities include completing class assessment reports within 24 hours after each lesson and maintaining a high standard of professionalism, communication, and teaching quality throughout all classes.
Skills & Requirements
- Stable wired internet connection required (Ethernet cable only)
- WiFi connections are not accepted
- Access to a good-quality webcam
- Boom microphone headset required
- Bluetooth audio devices are not accepted
- Ability to use the Google Chrome browser
- Installation of the Cisco Webex Chrome Extension required
- TeamViewer Version 13 must be installed
- Installation and setup instructions will be provided after successfully passing the interview stage
Teaching Hours
Teaching schedules will follow Taiwan Standard Time (UTC+8).
Available Teaching Hours
- Weekdays: 15:00 – 22:30
- Peak teaching hours: 19:00 – 21:00
- Weekends: 10:00 – 22:30
- Peak teaching hours: 10:00 – 12:00
- 14:00 – 16:00
- 19:00 – 21:00
Availability Requirements
Teachers will be expected to:
- Provide availability for at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday)
- Open teaching slots on a minimum of three weekdays per week
- Commit to at least 30 peak teaching hours per month
