The Role
The Email Marketing Manager will take full ownership of email marketing operations for a portfolio of direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands. Responsibilities include overseeing strategy, execution, and overall performance across email campaigns, automated flows, and pop-up initiatives.
The successful candidate will lead a dedicated team consisting of a designer, brand copywriter, and Klaviyo technician, ensuring that all deliverables are completed accurately, on schedule, and aligned with brand standards.
This position requires providing clear strategic direction, maintaining exceptional quality standards, and ensuring that every client email reflects a high level of professionalism and performance.
The Email Marketing Manager will also serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing communication, reporting on performance, and driving overall account success.

Core Responsibilities
- Overseeing the complete email marketing strategy and execution across campaigns, automated flows, and pop-up initiatives
- Developing and managing monthly campaign calendars for each client account
- Reviewing email copy to ensure messaging is clear, high-performing, and aligned with brand guidelines
- Providing creative briefs to designers and evaluating email layouts, visual hierarchy, and conversion effectiveness
- Managing client communication, approvals, and feedback processes efficiently
- Handling revisions promptly, with standard turnaround times expected within 24 hours
- Supervising scheduling and quality assurance procedures to ensure all emails are accurate and error-free before distribution
- Leading and coordinating the team to ensure all deliverables are completed within deadlines
- Maintaining well-organised and efficient workflows within Figma and Klaviyo environments
- Preparing and presenting monthly performance reports, including insights, analytics, and recommendations for improvement
- Remaining active on Slack and responding to messages within 15 to 20 minutes during working hours
Skills & Requirements
- The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience managing email marketing for eCommerce or DTC brands
- Strong expertise in email and SMS marketing strategy, execution, and optimisation
- Prior experience working within a brand or email marketing agency is required
- Advanced proficiency in Klaviyo, including both flows and campaign management
- Strong understanding of email design principles, including layout, hierarchy, spacing, and conversion-focused design
- Ability to create emails that are performance-driven, not just visually appealing
- Able to work quickly while maintaining high-quality output
- Strong communication skills, with a responsive and reliable working style
- Capable of managing and coordinating a team (designers and Klaviyo technicians) efficiently
- Skilled in managing multiple brand accounts while staying highly organised
- Strong sense of ownership, independence, and proactivity with minimal supervision required
- Able to take full responsibility for tasks, deadlines, and deliverables
- Available to work 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM CET with minimal interruptions
