This role is based in Bryanston, Johannesburg, and involves working closely with a global FMCG client. While not fully remote, it offers exposure to international projects and collaboration with global teams.
About the Role
The Integrated Designer will be responsible for delivering high-quality creative work across digital, print, and social platforms. From initial brief to final output, the role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work within brand guidelines, and the capacity to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Working alongside an Art Director, Copywriter, and account teams, the designer will ensure that all deliverables meet both creative and technical standards while aligning with client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce and adapt creative assets across OOH, digital, print, in-store, and social media channels
- Translate campaign concepts and brand guidelines into effective visual designs
- Contribute creative ideas and pitch concepts when required
- Maintain consistency and quality across all deliverables
- Deliver high-volume campaign work across static and motion formats
- Use tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign for design execution
- Create motion graphics and animations using After Effects
- Storyboard and develop both short- and long-form visual content
- Act as a brand guardian by ensuring strict adherence to guidelines
- Present work to stakeholders and refine designs based on feedback
- Manage multiple deadlines while maintaining high-quality output
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in design, production, or artwork roles
- Strong portfolio demonstrating work across multiple platforms and formats
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro)
- Experience with both static and motion design
- Solid understanding of branding, typography, and layout principles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with clients
- Experience working across multiple campaigns, languages, and channels
- Willingness to learn and adopt new tools, including AI-driven design platforms
