A US-based multi-brand organization operating within the regenerative medicine and stem cell industry is seeking a Social Media Specialist to take full ownership of its organic social media presence across a portfolio of consumer and professional brands. The role is focused on converting content activity into measurable audience growth and acquisition outcomes.
The company operates across multiple revenue streams, including a direct-to-consumer banking product, a physician partnership network, and a flagship annual industry conference. Privately owned and supported by a lean team of fewer than 25 employees, the business is currently scaling through organic marketing channels. Its previously combined marketing function has been restructured into dedicated specialist roles, with this position created to provide focused ownership and accountability for organic social performance.
In this role, the Social Media Specialist will be responsible for defining and executing the organic social media strategy, developing and managing the content calendar, and creating both static and short-form content. They will also monitor and report on performance across platforms, ensuring consistent brand voice across both consumer-facing and professional audiences. Success in this position is measured not by posting frequency, but by tangible growth in audience size, engagement, and its direct impact on acquisition outcomes.
Skills & Requirements
Must-Have Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in social media and digital marketing with direct ownership of organic social growth
- Proven, measurable results in organic social media performance (e.g., follower growth, engagement rate improvements, acquisition leads, video view milestones)
- End-to-end ownership of the organic social workflow, including strategy, content calendar planning, scheduling, and publishing
- Hands-on experience creating organic social content, including static designs, short-form videos, and platform-specific copy
- Experience managing organic content across multiple platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn
- C1+ level English proficiency (CEFR) for client-facing communication and specialised content writing
Nice-to-Have Requirements
- Experience managing contractors, editors, or freelance creative professionals
- Familiarity with AI-based content creation tools
- Experience in healthcare, biotechnology, or science-related content
- Experience growing YouTube channels or developing long-form video strategies
- Experience managing multiple brands or client accounts simultaneously
