Job Overview
MRI Software is seeking a Website Writer to create engaging, high-quality, and SEO-focused web content that clearly explains the company’s solutions, value, and competitive advantages to target audiences across global markets.
The role plays a key part in supporting the company’s digital content and website strategy by ensuring all web copy reflects the brand voice while effectively connecting with potential buyers.
As part of the content team, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing compelling website content across MRI Software’s global digital platforms, ensuring every page is informative, purposeful, user-friendly, and conversion-driven.
The position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Design, Product, and Digital departments, to ensure all content aligns with campaign goals, business objectives, and the company’s broader messaging strategy.
Core Responsibilities
Website & Digital Content
- Support and contribute to the execution of a comprehensive website content strategy aligned with MRI Software’s brand voice and global audience engagement goals.
- Produce and refine high-quality website copy for product pages, solution pages, landing pages, and campaign-related content while ensuring messaging remains clear, engaging, and aligned with brand standards.
- Develop impactful headlines, subheadings, feature descriptions, body copy, and calls to action that effectively communicate product benefits and encourage buyer engagement.
- Maintain consistency in tone, messaging, and quality across all sections of the company’s digital platforms.
- Regularly update and optimise existing website content to reflect evolving products, campaigns, and messaging priorities.
- Collaborate closely with Digital and Web teams to ensure content integrates seamlessly with page design, user experience, and conversion-focused website journeys.
SEO & Content Performance
- Ensure all web content aligns with SEO strategies aimed at increasing organic traffic and strengthening search engine visibility across key topics and keywords.
- Apply SEO best practices such as keyword optimisation, metadata creation, heading structures, and internal linking strategies to improve discoverability.
- Utilize tools such as Ahrefs or similar platforms to support keyword research, identify content opportunities, and track search performance.
- Monitor and evaluate content performance through Google Analytics and other reporting tools to guide optimization strategies and future content decisions.
- Continuously refine and improve web copy using performance insights, audience behaviour data, and updated SEO trends.
- Stay informed on industry developments, algorithm updates, and evolving digital content practices to maintain a competitive and effective online presence.
Digital Channel Content
- Create and edit content for multiple digital platforms beyond the company website, including blogs, email campaigns, social media content, and digital marketing assets.
- Assist in developing landing page copy and digital campaign content in partnership with the Campaigns team to support demand generation initiatives.
- Contribute to email marketing campaigns by producing engaging, audience-focused messaging aligned with campaign goals and segmentation strategies.
- Ensure consistency in branding, messaging, and tone across all digital communication channels and customer touchpoints.
Web Personalization & User Experience
- Support website personalization initiatives through platforms such as Webeo or similar technologies by developing targeted content for specific audiences, industries, and regions.
- Apply an understanding of web user experience principles and buyer journey optimisation to create content that supports intuitive navigation and conversion pathways.
- Work alongside Digital teams to identify opportunities for improving website engagement through stronger messaging, clearer copy, and more effective calls to action.
- Participate in A/B testing and content experimentation initiatives to continuously improve website performance and user engagement.
Collaboration & Execution
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with teams across Marketing, Design, Product, and Digital departments to ensure all web content supports business objectives, campaign priorities, and product messaging strategies.
- Collaborate with the Content Manager and wider content team to maintain alignment with brand standards, editorial guidelines, and messaging frameworks.
- Partner with Product Marketing teams to ensure product and solution pages accurately communicate current positioning, capabilities, and value propositions.
- Coordinate with external agencies and freelance contributors when additional content support is required, providing detailed briefs and ensuring quality standards are maintained.
- Engage with the Creative Studio team on visual, graphic, and multimedia elements needed to enhance website and digital content.
Planning & Project Management
- Oversee and prioritise multiple web content projects simultaneously while ensuring deadlines, quality standards, and project objectives are consistently achieved.
- Maintain clear tracking of active projects through shared content calendars, project management tools, and regular progress updates.
- Coordinate content review and approval processes efficiently by involving relevant stakeholders at the appropriate stages and incorporating feedback effectively.
- Identify and communicate potential delivery risks or workload challenges to the Content Manager in a timely manner, while recommending practical solutions where possible.
Quality & Brand Consistency
- Ensure all website and digital content reflects MRI Software’s brand voice, tone, and messaging standards while maintaining a consistently professional level of written quality.
- Apply strong editing and proofreading skills to all content prior to publication, ensuring clarity, accuracy, grammatical precision, and overall readability.
- Maintain a strong understanding of MRI Software’s products, target audiences, and key market messaging to create content that is commercially relevant and accurate.
- Contribute to the creation and ongoing improvement of web copy guidelines, templates, and best-practice resources to support consistency across the wider content team.
Skills & Requirements
Experience & Expertise
- Candidates should have 3+ years of experience in web copywriting, digital content creation, or B2B digital marketing, supported by a portfolio showcasing high-quality website and digital content.
- Demonstrated ability to produce engaging, clear, and conversion-focused copy tailored for B2B audiences, including product pages, landing pages, and campaign-related content.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and proven experience applying optimisation techniques to improve organic search performance.
- Solid knowledge of web user experience principles and buyer journey optimization, with the ability to create content that enhances digital engagement and usability.
- Good understanding of B2B digital marketing channels and strategies, including email marketing, paid digital campaigns, and content-driven demand generation.
- Proficiency in platforms and tools such as WordPress for content publishing, Google Analytics for performance tracking, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience using SEO platforms such as Ahrefs or equivalent tools will be considered advantageous.
- Familiarity with email marketing and marketing automation platforms, including Pardot or similar systems, would be beneficial.
- Exposure to website personalisation platforms such as Webeo will be an added advantage.
