About the Marketing Copywriter Role
As a Marketing Copywriter at Codekeeper, you will be responsible for creating, editing and optimising marketing content across multiple digital channels.
The role goes beyond simply writing. You will need to understand search intent, SEO, conversion rate optimisation and audience behaviour while continuously improving content based on performance data and testing.
You will work closely with marketing, design and development teams to ensure that content supports broader business objectives and maintains a consistent brand voice.
What You’ll Be Doing
Writing and Optimising Content
Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating high-quality, conversion-focused copy for websites, landing pages, emails and marketing campaigns
- Writing compelling calls to action and sales collateral
- Developing funnel content designed to encourage users to take action
- Producing SEO-optimised content based on search intent
- Improving website and landing page copy using conversion rate optimisation principles
- Using AI tools strategically to support content creation and research
Editing and Maintaining Brand Voice
You will also be responsible for ensuring that published content consistently meets a high standard.
This includes editing and refining copy for clarity, accuracy and consistency, while maintaining Codekeeper’s brand voice across different marketing channels.
Strong attention to detail will be important, particularly when reviewing content before publication.
Analysing and Improving Performance
The successful candidate will use data and insights to continuously improve their work.
You may be expected to monitor content performance, identify opportunities for improvement and make changes based on testing and engagement data.
The goal is not simply to produce content, but to understand what works and continuously improve it.
Working With Other Teams
The Marketing Copywriter will collaborate with marketing, design and development teams on campaigns and digital projects.
You will need to understand briefs, communicate ideas clearly and manage multiple projects while maintaining both speed and quality.
Requirements
Codekeeper is looking for someone with:
- Excellent copywriting skills with a strong focus on clarity and conversion
- Strong editing and proofreading abilities
- A solid understanding of SEO and search intent
- Experience writing landing pages, funnels and calls to action
- The ability to analyse content performance and make improvements
- Experience using AI tools strategically
- Strong attention to detail
- The ability to maintain a consistent brand voice
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Strong organisational and analytical abilities
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Experience and Qualifications
Applicants should have at least 3 years of experience in copywriting, content marketing or a similar role.
Experience with HubSpot and Figma is advantageous, although not essential.
Applicants should also have strong written and verbal English skills and be comfortable working with marketing, design and development teams.
