- A noise-cancelling headset and an HD webcam to deliver professional-quality online English lessons.
Position Details
- Start Date: Immediate start upon successful completion of the recruitment, onboarding, and training process.
- Location: Fully remote position available exclusively to candidates based in South Africa.
- Student Age Group: Young learners aged 4–16 years.
- Student English Level: Learners with English proficiency ranging from A1 to C1.
- Class Format: Online lessons conducted in one-on-one or one-on-two sessions, with a maximum of two students per class.
- Language of Instruction: English.
- Teaching Platform: ClassIn virtual classroom platform.
- Hourly Rate: US$6.50 per hour.
- Lesson Duration: Standard classes run for 25 minutes, while demonstration lessons range from 21–25 minutes.
- Employment Type: Remote Independent Contractor position.
- Working Hours: A minimum commitment of 14 hours per week is required within the teaching window of 12:00–15:30 SAST (18:00–21:30 BJT), Monday through Sunday. Teachers have the flexibility to choose how their weekly hours are scheduled, with availability spread across a maximum of six days per week.
