Skills & Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
- A recognised Bachelor’s degree in any field is required.
- Candidates should hold an accredited TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certification of at least 120 hours.
- At least 6 months of teaching or tutoring experience is preferred.
- Candidates must have access to a reliable computer and a suitable professional teaching environment.
Technical Requirements
- Computer: Minimum i5 processor running at 2.1 GHz with 8 CPUs and at least 8 GB RAM.
- Internet: A stable fibre connection with minimum upload and download speeds of 20 Mbps.
- Connection: A direct LAN cable connection is required rather than Wi-Fi.
- Backup Power: A UPS with a battery capacity of approximately 4 to 5 hours and a minimum rating of 2000VA.
- Equipment: A noise-cancelling headset and HD webcam are required. Having a backup headset is also recommended.
- Workspace: A quiet, well-lit, and professional space suitable for conducting online lessons.
