Role Overview
HyperionDev is hiring a CRM Manager to lead initiatives focused on improving lead-to-sale conversion rates. This is a remote-friendly opportunity, making it accessible to South African candidates, with occasional in-office collaboration required for those based in Cape Town.
The role centres on managing and optimising the customer journey from initial interest through to enrolment. The successful candidate will oversee CRM strategy, email marketing campaigns, and lead nurturing processes to drive engagement and conversions.
Key Responsibilities
CRM Strategy and Campaign Execution
- Develop and implement strategies to improve lead conversion rates
- Plan, build, and execute email marketing campaigns
- Manage communication calendars aligned with marketing objectives
Lead Management and Segmentation
- Oversee lead scoring and segmentation strategies
- Ensure accurate data flow and list hygiene across systems
- Support admissions teams with actionable lead insights
Collaboration and Content Development
- Work with brand, creative, and performance teams to produce effective campaigns
- Brief copywriters and designers to deliver cohesive messaging
- Align messaging across all customer touchpoints
Analytics and Optimisation
- Monitor and improve key email metrics such as open rates and click-through rates
- Use automation and data insights to refine campaign performance
- Track and report on CRM effectiveness
Required Skills and Experience
- At least three years of experience managing CRM initiatives focused on conversion
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Relevant qualification in marketing, business, communications, or a related field
- Experience managing email campaigns and direct marketing communications
- Knowledge of HTML and API integrations
- Experience with marketing automation and performance tracking
- Strong understanding of digital marketing metrics and conversion strategies
- Proven ability to meet or exceed performance targets
Preferred Experience
- Background in copywriting, brand messaging, or large-scale email campaigns
- Experience working with platforms such as SendGrid, Intercom, or Klaviyo
- Familiarity with Google Analytics
- SQL knowledge
- Experience working with high-volume consumer-facing brands
