Job Overview

This role blends executive assistance with strategic social media and content support. The successful candidate will handle light administrative responsibilities while primarily focusing on content creation, optimization, and digital growth initiatives, as well as engaging in communication with media contacts, clients, and prospective clients.

The position is not task-driven, but rather suited to an individual who is able to think critically, anticipate needs, and take initiative without constant supervision. A proactive mindset is essential, along with the ability to contribute ideas, improve existing processes, and actively support the growth of the client’s online presence.

There is also potential for the role to expand in both scope and compensation for the right candidate who demonstrates strong performance and strategic contribution.

Core Responsibilities

Executive Support

  • Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings
  • Assist with travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, and logistics
  • Monitor inbox and handle basic communication with clients and partners
  • Support outreach efforts and follow-ups for potential business opportunities

Content Creation & Social Media

  • Repurpose long-form content into short-form videos and social media posts
  • Edit videos, add captions, and optimise content for different platforms
  • Upload and manage content across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook
  • Maintain and update content trackers and publishing schedules

Marketing & Strategy

  • Identify trends and suggest relevant content ideas based on current events
  • Support social media growth through strategic content planning
  • Apply knowledge of algorithms, hashtags, SEO, and GEO to improve reach
  • Continuously propose ideas to increase engagement and visibility

Graphic & Presentation Support

  • Create and edit basic slide decks and presentations
  • Assist with visual content and simple graphic design tasks

Skills & Requirements

Required

  • Strong experience managing LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook platforms
  • Proven background in content creation, video editing, and social media management
  • Familiarity with video editing tools, captioning software, and content repurposing techniques
  • Solid understanding of social media algorithms, hashtags, SEO, and content optimisation strategies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to engage clients professionally and effectively
  • Prior experience supporting executives or working in fast-paced environments
  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions with minimal supervision

Preferred

  • Experience using platforms such as Riverside (for podcast interviews) and/or StreamYard
  • Background working with coaches, thought leaders, or personal branding clients
  • Experience with newsletter platforms such as Substack or similar tools
  • Strong creative ability for generating content ideas, repurposing materials, and developing media pitches
  • Basic graphic design skills for marketing assets and presentation decks (PPTs)
  • Interest in personal development, leadership, or coaching industries
  • Ability to adapt writing style to match the client’s tone of voice for social media content
