The successful candidate will join the team as a Senior Software Engineer, where they will design, build, and scale the core systems that power the platform. The role focuses on developing reliable, high-performance infrastructure that supports real-time service coordination and enables enterprise partners to move money and digital assets securely and efficiently at scale.

Core Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain reliable Rust-based services and libraries that support trading, payment, and cryptocurrency solutions while prioritizing performance, stability, and an exceptional user experience.
  • Produce high-quality, reusable, and thoroughly tested code that can scale across multiple teams and support business-critical systems while maintaining strong security and reliability standards.
  • Contribute to the design and development of large-scale distributed systems, transforming evolving business and product requirements into efficient, resilient, and low-latency technical solutions.
  • Work closely with a team of experienced Rust software engineers, sharing knowledge, contributing to technical innovation, and supporting a collaborative, high-performance engineering environment focused on delivering impactful products.

Skills & Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in software engineering.
  • Strong proficiency in developing network services and asynchronous applications using Rust.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply a security-first approach when designing systems to ensure reliability, resilience, and data protection.
  • Proven experience troubleshooting and resolving technical issues across the full technology stack, including operating systems, networks, and applications.
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems and related technologies, including RPC protocols, Apache Kafka, and event-driven architectures, with the ability to design scalable and high-performing solutions.
  • Ability to work closely with product and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • Experience taking full ownership of software systems and libraries throughout the entire development lifecycle.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentor fellow engineers and contribute to a collaborative, high-performance engineering culture.

Advantageous

  • Previous experience developing business-to-business (B2B) software solutions, particularly within the fintech or cryptocurrency industries.
