A fast-growing e-commerce company is seeking an Ecommerce Coordinator to support its digital marketing and online growth initiatives. This is a hybrid opportunity for South African professionals, offering 4 days remote and 1 day in-office in Athlone, Cape Town.

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior digital marketing professional looking to gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of e-commerce and digital marketing.

The role covers SEO, content marketing, social media, email marketing, and product marketing, providing broad exposure within a fast-paced and growing online business.

What This Role Entails

The Ecommerce Coordinator will be responsible for creating and publishing SEO-optimised website content, managing the company’s social media channels, and planning and executing email marketing campaigns.

The role also includes developing content for product launches and promotional campaigns, assisting with expanding the online product catalogue, and monitoring the performance of website, email, and social media activities.

In addition, the successful candidate will collaborate with internal teams on digital marketing initiatives and use AI-powered marketing tools to improve content quality and campaign performance.

• Strong copywriting and communication skills
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Mailchimp, Canva, or similar marketing tools is advantageous
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Ability to use AI tools to improve content and marketing performance is beneficial
