Paid Media Specialist (Junior to Intermediate) – Flux Full Circle

A leading digital marketing agency specialising in luxury travel and hospitality is seeking a Paid Media Specialist (Junior–Intermediate) to manage and optimise paid advertising campaigns across a portfolio of international clients. This is a remote-friendly opportunity for South African professionals, with occasional in-office collaboration required in Cape Town.

About Role

This role is responsible for managing paid media campaigns across platforms including Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok, ensuring campaigns achieve strong return on investment and meet client performance goals.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Marketing to develop data-driven advertising strategies, manage campaign budgets, and optimise digital performance for luxury travel brands worldwide.


Start date

1 August 2026 onwards.

Remuneration

Market-related based on experience. 

What This Role Entails

The Paid Media Specialist will oversee the day-to-day management and optimisation of paid advertising campaigns across multiple digital platforms.

Responsibilities include campaign setup, budget management, audience segmentation, bid optimisation, A/B testing, performance reporting, and identifying opportunities to improve campaign results. The role also involves aligning paid media with broader marketing initiatives to maximise overall campaign performance.

In addition, the successful candidate will use AI-powered advertising features such as Google Performance Max, Meta Advantage+, and smart bidding strategies to improve campaign efficiency. They will also work with tracking and analytics tools to measure results, present insights to clients, and recommend ongoing improvements.

The ideal candidate is an analytical and results-driven digital marketer with experience managing paid media campaigns across multiple advertising platforms.

They should be comfortable balancing creative thinking with data analysis, managing several client accounts simultaneously, and communicating campaign performance confidently with both internal teams and clients.

A passion for digital marketing, continuous learning, and the travel industry will be highly beneficial.

Requirements for This Role

• Degree in Marketing, Commerce, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in paid media, performance marketing, or digital advertising
• Experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, YouTube, and TikTok advertising
• Knowledge of AI-powered campaign features such as Performance Max, Advantage+, and smart bidding
• Experience with GA4, Google Tag Manager, AgencyAnalytics, or similar reporting tools
• Understanding of Meta Conversions API, server-side tagging, and first-party data strategies
• Strong analytical, reporting, and campaign optimisation skills
• Google Ads and Meta Blueprint certifications are advantageous
• Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work remotely with occasional office attendance when required
