This position is for a Senior Software Engineer.
- Compensation: EUR-denominated salary ranging from R891,000 to R1,485,000 per year, paid on a monthly basis
- Working Hours: Async-first approach aligned with Central European Time (CET)
- Location: Remote role based in South Africa

Core Responsibilities
- Responsible for designing and delivering production-ready services.
- Collaborates closely with engineers, designers, and product teams within the client’s organisation.
- Focuses on maintaining simplicity by actively reducing unnecessary complexity.
- Challenges and pushes back on features or solutions that do not provide sufficient value.
- Ensures continuous improvement by leaving the codebase in a better state than it was initially found.
Skills & Requirements
- Demonstrates over seven years of professional experience in software development.
- Possesses deep expertise in at least one backend technology stack and one frontend technology stack.
- Communicates clearly in written English and operates effectively in an async-first working environment.
- Based in South Africa and available to work aligned with Central European Time (CET) business hours.
- Functions at a Senior Software Engineer level with a strong preference for ownership and end-to-end responsibility rather than task-based or ticket-driven work.
