Skills & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- A recognised Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Candidates must hold a completed and accredited 120-hour TEFL, TESOL, TEYL, or CELTA qualification. Applicants who do not yet possess one may have the opportunity to enrol in the organisation’s internationally recognised in-house certification programme.
- A minimum of two years’ experience teaching English online is essential.
- Strong technical proficiency and the ability to maintain a quiet, professional home-based teaching environment are required.
Essential Technical Requirements
- Computer: A desktop or laptop equipped with an Intel® Core™ i5 processor, 8 GB RAM, or higher specifications.
- Internet Connection: Reliable fibre internet with minimum upload and download speeds of 20 Mbps, connected via a LAN cable for optimal stability.
- Backup Power Solution: An uninterruptible power supply (UPS) capable of providing approximately 4–5 hours of backup power, particularly in regions affected by power outages.
- Audio and Video Equipment: A high-definition webcam and a noise-cancelling headset to ensure clear communication and a professional virtual classroom experience.
