Operating as a fast-paced, seven-days-a-week business, the company places strong emphasis on personalised service and high-quality storytelling.

In addition, the company is preparing to launch a premium BBQ brand while also expanding its metal fabrication services, including gates, railings, and structural projects. These growing divisions will require tailored marketing strategies and creative solutions to support continued business growth.

Job Overview

The company is seeking a creative and strategic Social Media & Growth Specialist to elevate its digital presence and strengthen brand visibility. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and executing a cohesive brand strategy that goes beyond content posting to drive business growth and increase sales, particularly within the corporate sector.

The role will involve overseeing content planning, managing online communities, and enhancing the overall customer-facing digital experience to ensure strong engagement and brand consistency.

Core Responsibilities

1. Social Media & Content Strategy (55%)

  • Develop and manage engaging content calendars across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
  • Create platform-specific content strategies tailored to different target audiences, with a strong focus on building a professional and impactful LinkedIn presence for corporate clients.
  • Provide creative direction for freelance videographers and photographers by planning concepts, scripting content, and storyboarding shoots to maintain brand consistency.
  • Edit raw footage into engaging Reels, TikTok videos, and social media content designed to maximise reach and audience engagement.
  • Monitor and analyse content performance metrics to identify trends, improve results, and adjust strategies where necessary.

2. Direct Marketing & Business Growth (25%)

  • Research and implement effective strategies to market directly to businesses located within a 30-mile radius of the forge.
  • Manage and optimise paid advertising campaigns across Google, Instagram, and Facebook with a strong focus on return on investment and measurable business growth.
  • Assist in developing and managing email marketing campaigns aimed at strengthening community engagement and customer retention.

3. Customer Relations & Operations (20%)

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries across email and social media platforms, ensuring professional and timely communication.
  • Support basic order coordination through Shopify while managing course scheduling via Outlook and Google Calendar.
  • Maintain a personalized and community-focused customer experience by overseeing pre-course communication, automated messaging, and post-course follow-ups.

Skills & Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in growing social media platforms and delivering measurable business results, supported by a strong portfolio of previous work.
  • Proven knowledge of LinkedIn strategy, with experience in B2B or corporate marketing considered highly advantageous.
  • Proficiency in tools and platforms such as Shopify, Outlook, Google Workspace, and content scheduling software including Plannable or similar applications.
  • Advanced video editing skills for social-first platforms, with experience using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or related software.
  • Excellent written English communication skills, with the ability to maintain a professional corporate tone while also creating warm, community-driven messaging that aligns with the brand identity.

Additional Information

  • The role primarily follows UK business hours; however, a high level of flexibility is required to meet operational and customer needs.
  • Occasional weekend support will be expected on a rotational basis, involving approximately 2–3 hours of work to assist with urgent customer enquiries and order confirmations.
