The platform provides accessible and affordable online lessons designed to support immigrants to North America in strengthening their English skills, including conversation, writing, and overall communication.
Job Overview
The in-house UX/UI Designer serves as the in-house authority on product design, taking ownership of the overall user experience and interface. The role focuses on continuously optimising the product to meet the needs of diverse user groups, ensuring an intuitive, engaging, and user-centred experience across the platform.
Core Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Product Manager on product requirements and the product roadmap
- Work cross-functionally with various departments to understand feature needs and design effective solutions
- Create wireframes, mock-ups, and final designs using Figma
- Present and share designs with developers for implementation
- Partner with developers during the build process and review work to ensure design accuracy
- Support additional related tasks as required
Skills & Requirements
- A minimum of three years’ experience in UX/UI design
- Strong proficiency in using Figma for design and collaboration
- Previous experience within the EdTech sector is advantageous, though not essential
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, with a high level of attention to detail and a positive, professional attitude
- Reliable internet connectivity, along with access to a fully functioning smartphone and computer
