Core Responsibilities
- Strategic SEO Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies across technical, on-page, and off-page channels to enhance visibility and rankings for key industry terms.
- Advanced Keyword & Content Strategy: Conduct thorough keyword research to uncover high-value opportunities. Align keywords with a content calendar to position the client as an industry thought leader.
- SEO-Optimized Content Creation: Produce and/or edit engaging, SEO-focused content—including landing pages, blog posts, and press releases—that integrates keywords effectively while appealing to the target audience.
- Technical SEO Audits & Optimization: Perform regular website audits to identify and resolve technical issues such as crawl errors, site speed challenges, mobile usability, and indexing problems that may affect search performance.
- On-Page SEO Enhancement: Optimise all on-page elements, including meta tags, headers, image ALT text, and schema markup, to improve relevance, user experience, and click-through rates.
- Authority & Link Building: Design and maintain a strong internal linking structure. Lead backlink outreach campaigns to secure authoritative links from relevant publications and industry leaders.
- Performance Monitoring & Analysis: Track, analyse, and report key SEO metrics—such as rankings, traffic, and conversions—using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush, and leverage insights to continually refine strategies.
Skills & Requirements
- Possesses a minimum of 3 years of practical experience in SEO, with a proven track record of increasing organic traffic and improving rankings in competitive niches.
- Highly skilled in keyword research tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Moz, with the ability to develop content strategies based on keyword insights.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting technical SEO audits and implementing effective solutions.
- Experienced in executing successful backlink outreach and digital PR initiatives.
- Proficient in analytics platforms, particularly Google Analytics and Google Search Console, to monitor and optimise SEO performance.
- Excellent written English, with the ability to produce clear, persuasive, and grammatically accurate content.
- Combines creativity and analytical thinking, translating complex data into actionable strategies.
- Strong organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced remote setting, maintaining high standards and attention to detail.
