Core Responsibilities
Lesson Delivery and Preparation
- Prepare teaching resources and review lesson content in advance, ensuring suitability for each student’s age, learning objectives, and English proficiency level.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the curriculum and adapt teaching materials effectively to create engaging, structured, and educational lessons.
- Foster an interactive classroom environment that encourages participation, builds confidence, and promotes student self-expression.
Student Progress and Communication
- Complete and submit detailed lesson reports promptly after each class, highlighting student performance and providing constructive learning recommendations.
- Tailor teaching approaches and lesson pacing to meet the unique needs and learning styles of individual students.
- Maintain effective communication with class supervisors regarding trial classes, scheduled lessons, and any timetable adjustments.
- Embrace feedback from colleagues and management as part of an ongoing commitment to professional growth and teaching excellence.
Professional Standards and Reliability
- Adhere to all scheduled class times and enter the virtual classroom ahead of lessons to ensure readiness and smooth lesson delivery.
- Interact with students, parents, and colleagues in a respectful, positive, and professional manner at all times.
- Approach every lesson with dedication and professionalism to provide students with a rewarding, high-quality learning experience.
Skills & Requirements
- Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institution.
- Hold a minimum 120-hour TEFL, TESOL, or equivalent English teaching certification.
- Previous teaching experience is advantageous, with preference given to candidates who have experience delivering lessons in an online environment.
- Demonstrate excellent spoken and written English proficiency, supported by clear pronunciation and strong communication skills.
- Be confident in using ClassIn and other online teaching platforms and educational technology tools.
- Exhibit effective classroom management abilities, along with the professionalism and interpersonal skills required to engage students in a virtual learning setting.
- Display a high level of reliability, accountability, and commitment to teaching responsibilities, with a consistent record of professionalism and attendance.

Compensation and Benefits

- New teachers have access to a structured progression pathway, beginning at $4 USD per 25-minute lesson. Based on teaching performance, professionalism, and student feedback, the rate may increase to $4.50 USD and ultimately $5 USD per lesson.
- Additional financial incentives are available through seasonal holiday bonuses, with enhanced rewards offered during the summer and winter holiday periods.
