TalentPop is seeking a Remote SEO Assistant to join its expanding team. This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented, analytical, and creative professional who is passionate about search engine optimisation and supporting the growth of eCommerce brands.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the SEO and Marketing teams to execute effective SEO strategies that strengthen clients’ online visibility, improve search performance, and drive brand growth. Core Responsibilities
- Perform SEO audits, keyword research, and content optimization to improve website visibility and search engine rankings.
- Assist with backlink outreach initiatives and monitor website performance using Google Analytics.
- Maintain product catalogues, optimise website structure, and manage content through the Shopify CMS.
- Utilize platforms such as Klaviyo to analyze customer behavior, engagement, and marketing performance.
- Prepare SEO performance reports and stay informed on the latest industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.
Skills & Requirements
- A minimum of one year’s experience in SEO, preferably within an eCommerce environment.
- Proficiency in SEO and analytics tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience working with Shopify, Klaviyo, and Google Merchant Center will be advantageous.
- Strong written communication skills, with experience using design tools such as Canva considered a bonus.
- A proactive, self-motivated individual who performs well in a fast-paced remote working environment.
- Access to a reliable internet connection with minimum upload and download speeds of 25 Mbps.
- A personal desktop or laptop equipped with at least an Intel Core i5 processor or equivalent.
