The ideal candidate is expected to bring exceptional communication and organisational skills, extensive expertise in performance marketing, and a strong commitment to delivering outstanding results for clients across the UK and globally. This remote role is based in South Africa and requires regular collaboration across different time zones.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Paid Social and PPC strategies to meet client objectives across platforms including Meta, Instagram, TikTok, and Google.
- Manage client relationships, providing proactive updates and collaborating with internal specialists to optimise campaign performance.
- Oversee end-to-end account management in Meta Business Manager, including creative testing, audience development, and conversion tracking.
- Manage Google Ads accounts, covering Shopping and Search campaigns.
- Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports, insights, and strategic roadmaps.
- Present new ideas, creatives, and tests, gather feedback, and secure stakeholder buy-in.
- Contribute to pitches and proposals for prospective clients, with a preference for candidates interested in consultative sales.
Skills & Requirements
- Strong background in remote work environments, including experience similar to freelancing as an Independent Contractor, with a clear understanding of industry pros and cons.
- 4+ years of hands-on Paid Media experience, managing Facebook and Instagram Ads at scale; agency experience preferred.
- Proven success in eCommerce social advertising – essential.
- Strong creative judgment with the ability to brief, review, and iterate on ad creatives.
- Experience with Photoshop or InDesign – preferred.
- Experience managing Google Ads campaigns – preferred.
- Bonus exposure to Amazon Ads and/or Reddit Ads.
- Excellent client communication and account management skills.
- High attention to detail, perseverance, and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Data-driven mindset with experience in hypothesis-led testing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
- Experience handling clients generating 7- to 8-figure annual revenues.
- Reliable high-speed internet and a suitable home office setup.

Additional Information
- Salary: $2,000 per month, plus a commission structure based on revenue managed.
- Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 08:00 to 16:30 or 09:00 to 17:30 SAST, including a one-hour lunch break.
- Early finish on Fridays at 16:00.
- Must be able to maintain strong overlap with UK business hours.
