About the Email Marketing Specialist Role
The successful candidate will manage email campaigns from the initial brief through to campaign building, audience segmentation, scheduling and performance reporting.
You will work across several brands, each with its own visual identity and communication style. This means you’ll need to be comfortable adapting your approach while maintaining consistency with each brand’s guidelines.
The role is particularly suited to someone who cares about both the creative and analytical sides of email marketing.
Key Responsibilities
Email Campaign Management
You will be responsible for creating and scheduling approximately 6–8 email campaigns per week across multiple brands.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and building email campaigns in Klaviyo
- Following each brand’s individual visual identity and guidelines
- Working with layouts, typography, imagery and visual hierarchy
- Creating polished emails using supplied brand assets and creative direction
- Scheduling campaigns and completing quality checks before sending
- Managing campaigns across several brands simultaneously
Email Copywriting
The role also involves writing and refining email copy to ensure campaigns are engaging and appropriate for each brand.
You may be responsible for:
- Writing email copy
- Refining existing copy
- Creating compelling subject lines
- Writing calls to action
- Ensuring messaging matches the brand’s tone of voice
- Editing content for clarity and accuracy
CRM Segmentation
Audience targeting is an important part of the role.
You will use customer behaviour, engagement and campaign objectives to determine appropriate audience segments and ensure campaigns are reaching the right customers.
A good understanding of CRM segmentation and audience targeting will therefore be important.
Campaign Performance and Reporting
The successful candidate will also analyse campaign performance and use the results to improve future campaigns.
You will review metrics such as:
- Open rates
- Click rates
- Conversion rates
- Revenue
- Customer engagement
You will then provide clear and concise reporting, highlighting important trends and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Testing and Optimisation
The role includes ongoing testing and optimisation across different areas of email marketing.
This may include testing:

- Campaign formats
The goal is to use campaign results to continuously improve email performance.
Requirements
