Role Overview
A US-based digital marketing agency, Advanced Digital Automotive Group, is hiring a performance-driven Media Buyer to manage and optimise paid advertising campaigns across multiple client accounts. This is a fully remote role open globally, including South African candidates, with a strong focus on measurable performance outcomes.
The role is strictly results-driven. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client ad spend, improving campaign performance, and directly influencing client retention through paid media results.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Strategy and Setup
- Plan and launch paid campaigns across Meta and Google Ads
- Build campaign structures including targeting, segmentation, bidding strategies, and creative direction
- Set up and validate tracking systems using GA4, Meta Pixel, Google Tag Manager, and UTMs before launch
- Define KPIs and measurement frameworks with account teams
Performance Management and Optimisation
- Monitor campaign performance daily and optimise toward KPIs such as CPA, CPL, ROAS, and conversions
- Identify performance issues quickly and implement targeted fixes
- Manage and reallocate budgets based on campaign performance
- Run ongoing A/B testing on creatives, audiences, copy, and landing pages
Reporting and Communication
- Deliver clear, performance-focused reports to account managers
- Translate campaign data into simple, client-ready insights
- Maintain accurate documentation of campaign changes and test results
- Proactively flag risks that may affect performance
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 3 years of paid media experience managing client accounts
- Proven results in improving ROAS, CPA, CPL, or conversions with real campaign data
- Strong experience with Meta Ads and Google Ads
- Hands-on ability to set up and manage tracking using GA4, Meta Pixel, and Google Tag Manager
- Experience managing monthly ad spend of $5,000+ per client account
- Strong analytical and optimisation skills
- Experience with reporting tools such as Looker Studio or similar
- Strong understanding of landing page optimisation and conversion principles
- Must be available to work aligned with MST business hours
Tools and Workflow Expectations
- Active use of AI tools such as ChatGPT or Gemini for optimisation, copy testing, and research
- Strong documentation habits for all campaign changes and performance decisions
- Ability to work in structured, data-driven agency environments
