To support the ongoing success of these platforms, the company is seeking a detail-oriented SEO Outreach & Link Building Assistant to strengthen its search engine optimization and digital outreach efforts.

Job Overview

This opportunity is centered on research, administration, and communication, providing support for the organization’s SEO and digital marketing initiatives.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the broken-link and resource-page outreach programme by researching relevant websites, identifying valuable link-building opportunities, maintaining accurate tracking records, and sending professional outreach emails to prospective partners.

This position is not a technical web development role. Comprehensive training will be provided on the organization’s systems, tools, and processes, making prior SEO experience beneficial but not essential.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong written English communication skills, and the ability to consistently follow structured processes while maintaining a high standard of accuracy.

Core Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and compile prospect lists using search operators and SEO tools to identify relevant resource pages across accountant, solicitor, SMSF, broker, and property-related websites.
  • Verify that identified links are genuinely broken or outdated while ensuring the pages are relevant to the target subject matter.
  • Match each prospect with the most suitable replacement resource, including the organization’s valuation checklists, guides, and other relevant content.
  • Evaluate and qualify prospects using an established framework based on relevance, website authority, replacement suitability, and the availability of contact information.
  • Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date prospecting spreadsheets and tracking records.
  • Research and identify appropriate contact names and email addresses using email discovery tools.
  • Prepare and send personalized, professional outreach emails using approved templates and communication guidelines.
  • Manage scheduled follow-up communications while accurately recording responses, outcomes, and progress.
  • Produce weekly reports outlining prospects identified, outreach activities completed, follow-ups conducted, and successful backlinks secured.

Skills & Requirements

  • Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy.
  • Possesses excellent written English and the ability to communicate professionally via email.
  • Is proficient in using Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel.
  • Exhibits strong organizational skills and the ability to follow documented processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Is self-motivated, dependable, and capable of consistently achieving weekly performance targets.
  • Has a genuine interest in digital marketing and search engine optimization (SEO), with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.

Advantageous

While not essential, candidates with experience or knowledge in the following areas will be viewed favorably. Comprehensive training will be provided where required.

  • SEO, link building, digital PR, or outreach campaigns.
  • Basic HTML and CSS.
  • SEO platforms such as Ahrefs, SE Ranking, or similar tools.
  • Email discovery tools, including Hunter, Apollo, or Snov.io.
  • CRM platforms or outreach management and tracking systems.
  • The property, legal, accounting, or finance sectors.
