Job Overview
As a Marketing Copywriter, the successful candidate will work across a range of projects with a primary focus on developing high-performing marketing copy. They will be responsible for creating, refining, and optimizing content that aligns with business objectives and delivers measurable impact.
The role extends beyond content creation, requiring a strong understanding of search intent, along with the application of SEO and CRO principles. The Marketing Copywriter will also be expected to analyse performance data and continuously enhance content effectiveness. In this fast-paced environment, the role involves not only producing copy but also actively contributing to the evolution and improvement of the brand’s overall communication strategy.
Core Responsibilities
Writing and Optimization:
- Create high-quality, conversion-focused copy for websites, landing pages, email campaigns, and marketing initiatives
- Write compelling CTAs, sales materials, and funnel content designed to drive user action
- Produce SEO-optimized content aligned with search intent, ensuring strong readability and performance
- Develop and refine landing pages with a strong focus on conversion rate optimization (CRO)
- Effectively use AI tools to enhance writing quality and efficiency
Editing and Enhancement:
- Edit and refine content to ensure clarity, consistency, and high-quality standards
- Maintain a consistent brand voice across all channels and touchpoints
- Apply strong attention to detail across all content deliverables
Analysis and Optimization:
- Monitor content performance and identify areas for improvement
- Iterate and refine copy based on data insights, testing, and performance feedback
- Continuously optimize messaging to improve engagement and conversion outcomes
Collaboration and Delivery:
- Collaborate closely with marketing, design, and development teams to execute campaigns
- Manage briefs effectively and ensure alignment across all stakeholders
- Balance speed and quality while delivering work within tight deadlines
- Contribute to a culture of high standards, accountability, and continuous improvement
Skills & Requirements
- Demonstrated excellence in copywriting, with a strong emphasis on clarity, engagement, and conversion
- Strong editing and proofreading skills, maintaining a consistently high standard of quality
- Solid understanding of SEO best practices and search intent optimisation
- Proven experience in writing conversion-driven content, including landing pages, funnels, and CTAs
- Ability to analyse content performance and implement data-driven improvements
- Skilled in the strategic use of AI tools to enhance writing output and efficiency
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to consistently uphold brand voice and tone
- Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with design and development teams
- Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining speed and quality
- Pragmatic, organised, and solution-focused approach to work
Additional Requirements:
- Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in copywriting, content marketing, or a related field
- Experience working with HubSpot and Figma considered an advantage
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Excellent organisational and analytical abilities
- Ability to adapt quickly, prioritise effectively, and perform in a fast-paced environment
