A growing international education-focused organisation is seeking a Digital Marketer – PPC Specialist to manage and optimise paid advertising campaigns across multiple brands. This is a fully remote opportunity for South African professionals, offering the chance to work across global markets while driving lead generation and business growth.

About Role

This full-time remote position focuses on the day-to-day management and optimisation of paid search campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, with additional involvement in paid social advertising.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Revenue Operations and take ownership of campaign performance, budget management, reporting, and AI-assisted optimisation initiatives.

Working hours: Monday to Friday (06:00 – 14:00 SAST), Salary: R23,000 per month (non-negotiable), Location: Remote (South Africa), and Employment Type: Full-Time Independent Contractor.

What This Role Entails

The PPC Specialist will be responsible for managing paid search campaigns across multiple brands, ensuring budgets are effectively allocated and campaigns consistently achieve performance targets.

The role involves ongoing keyword research, bid management, ad copy testing, quality score optimisation, and conversion-focused campaign improvements. The successful candidate will monitor key metrics such as click-through rates, cost-per-click, conversion rates, and cost-per-lead while identifying opportunities for growth and efficiency.

In addition, the role includes conducting A/B testing across campaign elements, analysing competitor activity, and supporting paid social advertising initiatives where required.

A strong focus is also placed on leveraging AI tools and automation to improve reporting, budget monitoring, anomaly detection, and account management processes while maintaining human oversight for critical decisions.

Requirements for This Role

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns
• Strong experience with Google Ads campaign types, including Search, Performance Max, and Demand Gen
• Experience managing Microsoft Ads campaigns
• Proven ability to improve quality scores, CTRs, and cost efficiency through optimisation
• Strong keyword research and campaign expansion experience
• Experience managing budgets across multiple advertising accounts
• Ability to analyse campaign data and communicate performance insights clearly
• Experience using AI tools to support campaign management and reporting
• Google Ads certifications are advantageous
• Experience with Meta Ads or other paid social platforms is beneficial
• Previous experience in education, lead generation, or multi-brand environments is an advantage
