Job Overview

Advanced Digital is seeking an AI Content Strategist & Copywriter capable of creating content that feels authentic, performs strongly in search rankings, drives conversions, and meets client expectations after publication. The role involves producing, refining, and optimizing high-quality content for blogs, landing pages, advertisements, email campaigns, social media platforms, and SEO-focused website content.

This opportunity goes beyond a traditional content writing position. The successful candidate will operate within an AI-assisted production environment where efficiency is important, but maintaining exceptional quality remains the top priority. Responsibilities include transforming raw concepts, creative briefs, AI-assisted drafts, and strategic guidance into compelling, commercially effective content that remains natural, credible, and aligned with brand identity.

The company is looking for an individual who can quickly identify weak AI-generated content, enhance it efficiently, and deliver polished, publication-ready material with minimal supervision.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing content designed to support traffic growth, lead generation, client authority, and the performance of paid marketing campaigns.

Core Responsibilities

Content Creation & Copywriting

  • Develop and optimise high-quality content for blogs, websites, advertisements, email campaigns, and social media platforms
  • Transform AI-generated drafts into engaging, natural, and publication-ready content
  • Create compelling copy aligned with brand voice, target audiences, and campaign goals
  • Adjust tone, structure, and messaging according to platform requirements, audience intent, and funnel stage
  • Produce clear, concise, and conversion-focused content without sounding robotic or overly automated

SEO & AEO Optimisation

  • Structure content to support strong on-page SEO performance
  • Implement effective heading structures, metadata recommendations, internal linking, and natural keyword placement
  • Align content with user search intent and competitive market positioning
  • Develop content optimised for Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO), including FAQ sections and direct-answer formatting
  • Apply E-E-A-T principles naturally while avoiding keyword stuffing and forced authority language

AI-Assisted Content Production

  • Utilise AI tools to improve research, ideation, drafting, and workflow efficiency
  • Identify weak AI-generated content, repetitive phrasing, inaccuracies, and generic messaging quickly
  • Rewrite and humanise AI-assisted drafts to meet editorial and client expectations
  • Maintain consistency across AI-assisted and manually written content
  • Contribute to improved prompting strategies and workflow processes where applicable

Editorial Quality Assurance

  • Review content for factual accuracy, readability, grammar, tone, and brand consistency
  • Ensure all deliverables are polished, professional, and suitable for publication
  • Conduct originality and quality assurance checks using approved tools
  • Identify weak briefs, unsupported claims, or strategic issues before they affect production
  • Maintain organised workflows, revisions, and editorial handoff procedures

Collaboration & Execution

  • Collaborate closely with SEO strategists, account managers, media buyers, and designers
  • Deliver projects within production deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Assist in improving editorial systems, templates, SOPs, and content workflows
  • Accept and implement feedback professionally and efficiently
  • Balance quality, efficiency, and commercial performance across all deliverables

Skills & Requirements

  • Demonstrates strong copywriting abilities with the capability to produce natural, persuasive, and commercially effective content
  • Experienced in editing and refining AI-assisted content while improving weak outputs efficiently
  • Possesses solid knowledge of practical SEO principles, including search intent, keyword targeting, heading structures, internal linking, and content optimization
  • Capable of making fast editorial decisions by identifying when content requires minor edits, strategic rewriting, or complete restructuring
  • Exhibits excellent written English skills with the ability to recognise awkward phrasing, redundancy, poor structure, and weak content flow instinctively
  • Able to work reliably in a remote environment with a stable internet connection, dedicated workspace, and availability during Mountain Standard Time business hours

Preferred Experience

  • Previous agency experience is highly advantageous
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in copywriting, content marketing, SEO writing, editorial work, or agency environments
  • Experience creating content across multiple industries and client brands
  • Familiarity with AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, Jasper, or similar AI-assisted tools
  • Experience using SEO tools and content optimisation workflows
  • Ability to produce both long-form and short-form content effectively
  • Portfolio of published work or professional writing samples
