The position is for an Email Marketing Specialist responsible for designing, executing, and optimizing email campaigns aimed at boosting engagement, nurturing leads, and driving conversions. The specialist manages the entire campaign lifecycle Including audience segmentation, automation, deliverability, and reporting, ensuring email functions as a reliable and measurable revenue-generating channel.

Additionally, they are highly organized and capable of managing multiple campaigns concurrently.

Core Responsibilities

  • Campaign Development & Execution:
    • Create and launch email campaigns using HubSpot, Klaviyo, Marketo, Mailchimp, or ActiveCampaign.
    • Write subject lines, body copy, and CTAs tailored to audience segments.
    • Design responsive email templates aligned with brand guidelines, including HTML/CSS adjustments when needed.
  • Audience Segmentation & List Management:
    • Manage contact databases of 20k–200k+ entries.
    • Segment audiences by persona, lifecycle stage, engagement level, and geography.
    • Maintain list hygiene by removing hard bounces, spam traps, and inactive users.
  • Automation & Nurture Programs:
    • Build automated workflows such as drip sequences, abandoned cart flows, and behaviour-triggered campaigns.
    • Test workflow logic to ensure campaigns run correctly.
  • Deliverability & Compliance:
    • Monitor inbox placement and sender reputation using tools like Litmus, GlockApps, or Postmark.
    • Manage domain health, DNS/SPF/DKIM settings, and suppression lists.
    • Ensure campaigns comply with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and CCPA regulations.
  • Performance Optimization:
    • Run A/B tests on subject lines, copy, CTAs, and send times.
    • Analyse metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, conversions, and unsubscribes.
    • Refine campaigns based on data-driven insights.
  • Reporting:
    • Produce weekly and monthly campaign performance dashboards.
    • Track revenue attribution by integrating ESP data with Google Analytics, Looker, or CRM dashboards.
    • Present findings and actionable recommendations to sales and marketing leadership.

Skills & Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in email marketing.
  • Proficiency with at least one major ESP, such as HubSpot, Klaviyo, Marketo, or Mailchimp.
  • Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets, including segmenting, VLOOKUPs, and pivot tables.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS for designing and editing email templates.

Preferred/Ideal Experience & Skills:

  • Experience managing email programs for audiences of 50,000+ contacts.
  • Familiarity with deliverability monitoring tools, such as Litmus or GlockApps.
  • Exposure to industries like SaaS, e-commerce, or professional services.
  • Experience integrating ESPs with CRM systems, including Salesforce or HubSpot.
