About The Company
The company is a rapidly growing provider of offshore legal talent solutions for U.S. law firms. Founder-led and remote-first, it operates without bureaucracy or unnecessary complexity, focusing on delivering high-quality work efficiently.
Marketing drives everything the company builds, and it is seeking a leader to head the team responsible for this critical function.
Job Overview
This is primarily a people management position. The role involves leading a team of creatives, media buyers, SEO specialists, and copywriters—setting standards, maintaining high expectations, and driving results through effective team leadership.
The position also requires hands-on marketing expertise. The company operates a performance-driven marketing operation with paid media at its core. The ideal candidate understands campaign construction, budget allocation, funnel conversion, and problem-solving, providing guidance and making informed decisions that the team can rely on.
While the role does not involve running ads daily, the candidate will have a clear understanding of what excellent work looks like.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a diverse marketing team, including media buyers, creatives, SEO specialists, and copywriters.
- Establish performance standards and ensure the team is held accountable to them.
- Oversee campaign outcomes across paid channels (Google, Meta, LinkedIn) through team leadership.
- Manage marketing budgets, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and effectively.
- Review and approve creative work, copy, and campaign strategies before launch.
- Track, analyse, and report on key performance indicators, taking full ownership of marketing results.
- Develop systems and processes to improve team efficiency and effectiveness over time.
- Collaborate closely with leadership and sales teams to ensure marketing drives tangible pipeline growth.
Skills & Requirements
- Possess 3+ years of experience managing marketing teams, including media buyers, creatives, and SEO specialists (beyond freelance management).
- Have a strong background in paid media with deep expertise in performance marketing.
- Be able to interpret campaign data, identify issues, and guide the team in resolving them.
- Focus on pipeline, customer acquisition cost (CAC), conversion rates, and revenue impact rather than vanity metrics.
- Manage multiple channels, projects, and team members while maintaining clarity and focus.
- Thrive in a remote, high-performance environment where accountability is standard.
- Lead with directness, providing clear feedback and expecting measurable results.
- Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing marketing teams, including media buyers, creatives, SEO specialists, or similar roles.
- Proven expertise in paid digital marketing across platforms such as Google, Meta, and LinkedIn.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in performance reporting and data-driven decision-making.
- Familiarity with CRMs, dashboards, and funnel metrics to track and optimise marketing performance.

- The candidate has only managed freelancers or external agencies rather than full-time marketing professionals.
- They lack hands-on experience with paid media and performance-driven marketing funnels.
- They shy away from having difficult conversations with underperforming team members.
- They prefer a slow-moving, low-urgency corporate environment over a fast-paced, high-performance setting.
Benefits
- Competitive salary with an annual performance bonus.
- Company-sponsored health insurance.
- Generous paid time off (PTO), increasing with tenure up to 30 days per year.
- Anniversary loyalty bonuses of up to four months’ salary.
