About the Role

Ignite Visibility, a rapidly expanding digital marketing agency headquartered in San Diego, California, with an additional office in Orlando, Florida, and a fully remote team, is seeking an experienced International SEO Strategist at a supervisory level. This leadership role requires a seasoned SEO professional with expertise in both local and franchise SEO. The successful candidate will lead a team, bringing strategic insight and guidance, while working full-time during U.S. Eastern Standard business hours.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies for franchise accounts, focusing on hyper-local optimisation and franchise-specific challenges.
  • Analyse performance metrics to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Oversee the implementation of the SEO playbook for both national and local campaigns.
  • Mentor and guide coordinators, specialists, project managers, and interns.
  • Provide strategic insight, training, and solutions to complex SEO issues.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one sessions to maintain best practices and support growth.
  • Oversee location-specific and brand-wide SEO projects.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with franchise stakeholders.
  • Delegate tasks effectively to ensure smooth execution of SEO initiatives.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment.

Skills & Requirements

  • A minimum of six years’ experience in SEO.
  • Proven expertise in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
  • Prior experience in a digital marketing agency environment is essential.
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory capabilities.
  • Proficiency with platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Strong background in franchise and multi-location SEO.
  • In-depth knowledge of on-site SEO practices and link-building strategies.
  • Experience in conducting keyword research and assignments.
  • Familiarity with technical SEO elements.
  • Understanding of social media platforms and their impact on SEO.
  • Working knowledge of WordPress and blogging.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Experience in client-facing roles.
