This role presents an opportunity for an experienced SEO Account Manager to take ownership of client relationships while driving measurable growth through strategic SEO leadership. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to clients, overseeing and guiding SEO strategies from planning through to execution.

Working collaboratively with content, PPC, and automation teams, the role focuses on delivering integrated marketing solutions that generate real, conversion-focused results. In addition, the SEO Account Manager will contribute to the ongoing development of the company’s SEO offering, with a particular emphasis on leveraging AI-driven tools and processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and overall performance.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of B2B SEO clients while acting as the main point of contact
  • Develop and execute data-driven SEO strategies aligned with each client’s goals
  • Perform regular website audits, competitor analysis, and keyword research
  • Leverage generative AI tools to support content ideation, optimisation, and performance reporting
  • Collaborate with content, development, and paid media teams to ensure SEO is effectively integrated into the wider marketing strategy
  • Analyse and report on performance metrics, insights, and growth opportunities
  • Keep up to date with search engine updates, technical advancements, and industry best practices

Skills & Requirements

  • A minimum of four years’ proven experience in SEO
  • Demonstrated confidence in managing client accounts and providing strategic advice
  • Strong knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO principles
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Semrush, Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, or equivalent platforms
  • Ability to interpret data and translate insights into clear strategies and actionable next steps
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A keen interest in artificial intelligence and its impact on the evolving SEO landscape

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to conversion rate optimisation (CRO) and the creation of detailed content briefs
  • Experience using AI-driven tools such as ChatGPT, Surfer, or similar platforms within SEO workflows
