Job Overview
The company is seeking a skilled, freelance Performance Marketing Specialist to plan, execute, and optimise campaigns across Google Ads and Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram).
This is a fully remote contractor position, open exclusively to candidates based in South Africa.
The successful candidate will be accountable for driving measurable outcomes, handling all aspects of campaign management — from initial setup to ongoing optimisation and performance reporting.
Core Responsibilities
- Build, launch, and manage Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, Performance Max)
- Plan, launch, and optimise Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram)
- Monitor and optimise campaigns based on ROAS, CPA, CTR, and conversions
- Conduct keyword research, audience targeting, and creative testing
- Manage and optimise ad budgets efficiently
- Set up and maintain conversion tracking (Google Analytics, Google Tag, Meta Pixel)
- Analyse performance data and deliver clear, actionable reports
- Collaborate remotely with the team on creatives, landing pages, and offers
- Stay up to date with paid media best practices and platform updates
Skills & Requirements
- Proven experience managing Google Ads campaigns (required)
- Experience with Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram) is a strong advantage
- Solid understanding of performance marketing KPIs
- Proficiency with Google Analytics and tracking setup
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
- Reliable communication and deadline-driven execution
