Job Overview
The Marketing Specialist — SEO is a digitally savvy professional with comprehensive knowledge of digital marketing and a specialised focus on search engine optimisation. This role is responsible for enhancing clients’ online visibility through strategic on-page and off-page optimisation, technical SEO improvements, and keyword-driven content strategies aimed at increasing organic search rankings. The ideal candidate demonstrates a well-rounded understanding of digital marketing and possesses the capability to execute foundational cross-functional tasks within both SEO and content marketing domains.
Core Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research and mapping to identify strategic opportunities.
- Optimise website structure, metadata, and content to enhance search engine performance.
- Implement technical SEO enhancements, including improvements to site speed, crawlability, and schema markup.
- Monitor and analyse keyword rankings, organic traffic, and other key performance indicators.
- Perform competitor and content gap analyses to inform ongoing optimisation strategies.
- Manage and refine Google Business Profiles to strengthen local search visibility.
- Develop and maintain a robust local SEO strategy to enhance regional presence.
- Identify and recommend content initiatives aligned with overall SEO objectives.
- Collaborate closely with the Content Specialist to ensure the creation of SEO-optimised copy.
- Provide strategic optimisation recommendations to project managers and clients.
- Ensure all assigned tasks are executed with precision and delivered within established timelines.
- Prepare and maintain detailed performance reports, client dashboards, and analytical workbooks.
- Remain current with evolving search engine algorithms, trends, and best practices in SEO.
Skills & Requirements
- A minimum of five years’ proven experience in executing SEO strategies and campaigns.
- Comprehensive understanding of tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush or Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.
- Demonstrated success in enhancing search visibility and improving organic rankings.
- Strong client-facing skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build lasting relationships.
- Previous experience supporting small to mid-sized businesses within the US market.
- Familiarity with SE Ranking software is considered an advantage.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (US Eastern Time).
