Job Overview
Hellokid was established in 2014 and has nearly 11 years of experience in the online English education industry. The company specialises in delivering personalised, one-on-one English lessons to students aged 4 to 16 years old.
Each lesson runs for 25 minutes, with all teaching materials provided to instructors to ensure structured and engaging sessions.
The standard contract duration is one year, with the option for renewal upon completion.
Payments are processed monthly on or before the 25th via PayPal or Payoneer.
Classes are conducted through the Classin online teaching platform.
Skills & Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year teaching experience
- Recognised teaching qualification (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent)
- Availability to teach 4–6 days per week
- At least 14 fixed teaching hours during peak times (6:00pm–9:30pm Beijing time, Monday to Sunday)
- Weekend availability preferred
- If available for only 4 days per week, one day must be a weekend day
- Minimum of 4 consecutive time slots per working day
Technical Requirements:
- Stable, high-speed internet connection
- Minimum 10 Mbps upload speed
- Minimum 30 Mbps download speed
- Computer with at least Intel Core i5 processor (or equivalent)
- Processor benchmark score of 4000 or higher
Minimum Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- TEFL or TESOL certification
- 1–2 years of teaching experience
- Preferred applicants: Non-native English speakers from South Africa, Argentina, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Mexico, Morocco, Nigeria, Oman, Portugal, and Serbia.
