Escape Campus is seeking enthusiastic and motivated English teachers who enjoy teaching online and are eager to contribute to a growing international education initiative.
Core Responsibilities
- Deliver live online English lessons to individual learners and small groups of students worldwide.
- Apply Escape Campus teaching guidelines while incorporating personal teaching style and creative approaches.
- Emphasise communicative competence, confidence development, and practical real-life language skills, including speaking, listening, and pronunciation.
- Design, adapt, and customise lesson materials to suit students’ proficiency levels, objectives, and interests.
- Offer constructive feedback and provide clear, concise progress updates when required.
- Work collaboratively with the academic team to enhance programme quality and the overall student learning experience.
Skills & Requirements
- Native or near-native English proficiency at C1–C2 level.
- Proven experience teaching English online, preferably with adult and teenage learners.
- A recognised teaching qualification such as TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent is highly advantageous.
- Confidence in using online teaching platforms, including Zoom, Google Meet, and similar digital tools.
- Access to a stable internet connection, along with a professional-quality headset and webcam.
- Excellent communication skills, a high level of empathy, and a learner-focused teaching approach.
- Availability to teach within the South African time zone (SAST), particularly during afternoon and/or evening hours.
