The Opportunity
diginu is looking for motivated part-time or full-time Marketing Assistants to join its remote marketing team. This role is commission-based and ideal for individuals who want to earn income while working flexibly from anywhere in South Africa.
Marketing Assistants will onboard restaurants, grocery stores, and liquor stores onto the diginu platform. Every order placed through these businesses on diginu will earn the Assistant commission—not once, but every single time, for as long as those merchants continue to receive orders.
This is a remote opportunity open exclusively to South African citizens.

Role Responsibilities
- Onboard new merchants (restaurants, grocery stores, and liquor outlets) to the diginu platform
- Promote the diginu app and onboard new customers across South Africa
- Attend weekly remote team sessions (compulsory: Tuesdays, 8–9 PM via Zoom)
- Assist with digital marketing, customer engagement, and growth initiatives
- Work independently to expand the diginu brand presence in your region
Candidate Profile
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Sales, marketing, and market research experience
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and digital tools
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Previous experience in tech or e-commerce is a plus
- Self-driven and comfortable working remotely
- South African citizenship is required
Preferred Education
- Bachelor’s degree (or in progress) in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory
