Job Overview
Craft Collective Innovation Lab is seeking a highly skilled Creative Content Creator & Social Media Manager to join its dynamic team. This role calls for a professional who can seamlessly blend creativity with strategic thinking, producing visually compelling and engaging content that captures attention across digital platforms. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong expertise in design, storytelling, and social media management, with the ability to craft impactful campaigns that resonate with audiences and elevate brand presence.
Working across both client projects and the lab’s internal brands, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering innovative ideas, scroll-stopping visuals, and well-executed strategies that drive engagement and measurable results. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a collaborative, forward-thinking environment where creativity and innovation are at the core of everything.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and execute high-impact social media strategies for client and internal brands.
- Design branded graphics, carousels, and other marketing collateral.
- Produce and edit engaging short-form videos, reels, and motion content.
- Plan, schedule, and post content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
- Analyse performance metrics to optimise campaigns and improve engagement.
- Collaborate with the senior designer and creative director, providing creative input and support.
Skills & Requirements
- A minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in social media management, content creation, and design.
- Proficiency in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects) or equivalent tools.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in both static visuals and video content.
- Solid understanding of branding and brand consistency, with the ability to design content that effectively communicates brand identity.
- Up-to-date knowledge of social media best practices, trends, and analytics tools.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and apply strategic thinking to campaigns.
- Confidence and experience using WordPress for campaign reporting and light content updates.
Key Information
- Location: Hybrid arrangement, combining remote work with in-person meetings and work sessions in Somerset West/Cape Winelands twice per month.
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30–16:00.
