Job Overview

The client is seeking a UX & Digital Strategy Specialist to lead strategic initiatives throughout the entire project lifecycle — from pre-sales presentations to post-sales implementation. This pivotal role serves as the connection between business objectives and digital solutions, encompassing SEO, Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO), paid media, and user experience design.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive strategic roadmaps that align audience insights, keyword opportunities, and paid media efforts with effective information architecture and content structures. Unlike a purely execution-based position, this role demands a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on involvement — shaping high-level digital strategies, presenting them convincingly to clients, and collaborating closely with internal teams to transform those strategies into measurable results across websites and campaigns.

Core Responsibilities

  • Pre-Sales & Strategy: Collaborates with the sales team during the pre-sales phase to design and deliver strategic presentations that align digital solutions with client business objectives.
  • Client Workshops: Leads discovery and strategy sessions with clients to identify business goals, define target audiences, and gather competitive insights that inform digital direction.
  • Information Architecture & UX: Translates business requirements into structured information architecture, intuitive content frameworks, and user experience recommendations for websites and landing pages. Develops wireframes or page outlines to visualise proposed layouts and functionality.
  • SEO & Paid Media Strategy: Formulates comprehensive SEO and paid media strategies aligned with user journeys and conversion targets, including detailed keyword research and search intent mapping.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Works closely with design, SEO, and PPC teams to ensure strategic plans are effectively implemented across all final deliverables.
  • Performance Analysis: Interprets performance data — including traffic, conversions, rankings, and cost per acquisition — and transforms findings into actionable insights and optimisation recommendations for clients.

Skills & Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 7 years’ experience in SEO, paid media, and UX strategy, ideally within an agency setting.
  • A demonstrated ability to translate high-level business objectives into digital strategies that achieve measurable growth.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of SEO — including technical optimisation, on-page strategy, and content development — alongside a solid understanding of Google Ads and Social Ads fundamentals.
  • Proven experience in developing information architecture, wireframes, and content outlines to support user-centred design.
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills, with the ability to lead client workshops and engage confidently with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical ability to interpret complex performance data and communicate insights and recommendations in a clear, accessible manner.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Generative Engine Optimisation (AI-driven SEO) methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) and landing page optimisation techniques.
  • Relevant Google Ads or Google Analytics certifications.
  • Hands-on experience using UX tools such as Figma, Miro, or equivalent platforms.
  • Working knowledge of project management tools, including Jira, ClickUp, or Asana.
