Core Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality prompt and “golden answer” pairs to support the training and evaluation of advanced language models.
- Design detailed prompts that incorporate multiple constraints, layered instructions, and clear objectives.
- Define standards for accurate and appropriate responses within general consumer contexts, and create comprehensive evaluation rubrics to measure performance.
- Test prompts across language models and critically assess outputs against established criteria and expectations.
- Contribute to quality assurance review processes, ensuring that prompt tasks and evaluation rubrics meet rigorous standards and maintain consistency prior to inclusion in official benchmarks.
Skills & Requirements
Dependable, punctual, personable, and able to engage effectively with students across different age groups.
Must be based in South Africa to facilitate payment logistics.
Proficiency in English at a native or near-native level, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Possession of a TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certification (minimum 120 hours) is mandatory.
Access to a stable internet connection and a professional teaching setup, including a quiet workspace, webcam, and high-quality headset.
Availability of backup power (UPS or inverter) to ensure continuity during loadshedding.
Comfortable navigating Zoom and other online teaching platforms.
