Role Overview
Tag is seeking a UX/UI Designer to shape an intuitive and visually engaging user experience. The designer will be responsible for creating wireframes, user flows, and polished designs that encourage daily interaction and foster meaningful connections.
Responsibilities
- Design user journeys for discovering and connecting with people nearby.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for core features, including:
- Proximity-based discovery feed
- User profiles and badges
- Privacy and visibility toggles
- Event and live picture sharing
- Explore heatmap-style views or visualisations of activity across the city.
- Establish a consistent visual identity, including colour palettes, typography, icons, and motion design.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
- Conduct quick usability tests and refine designs based on user feedback.
Candidate Profile
- Strong portfolio of mobile-first app designs.
- Experience in social, community, or discovery platforms is advantageous.
- Ability to balance simplicity, clarity, and excitement in user interfaces.
- Proficiency with Figma or similar design tools.
- Understanding of user psychology, privacy, and trust-building within UX design.
