Job Overview
The organisation is seeking a UX Designer to join one of several workstreams within a newly established delivery pod. In this role, the designer will work closely with Service Designers, Business Analysts, and engineers to develop intuitive, user-centred solutions that support governance, work arrangement, data management, or AI-related initiatives. As project assignments are still being finalised, the ideal candidate will be adaptable, comfortable navigating shifting priorities, and confident operating within evolving problem spaces.
Multiple positions are available, and there is a strong preference for applicants who have previously collaborated as part of the same squad or pod. While individual applications are welcomed, the organisation is particularly interested in teams applying together as ready-made units. Candidates who have successfully partnered with colleagues in roles such as UX, Service Design, or Business Analysis are encouraged to apply as a group or reference one another in their submissions.
This opportunity is well suited to someone with a thoughtful, product-focused approach to UX—someone capable of translating service-level insights into coherent flows, screens, and interactions that hold up in practical delivery environments.
Core Responsibilities
- Developing user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and interaction specifications.
- Collaborating closely with Service Designers to transform service blueprints into practical, user-centred UX solutions.
- Working alongside Business Analysts to ensure that logic, dependencies, and requirements are accurately reflected in the interface.
- Contributing to research activities, usability testing, and iterative design improvements.
- Adhering to established design principles, tools, and team frameworks.
- Operating effectively within a pod environment, preferably alongside colleagues they have previously collaborated with.
- Adapting and evolving designs as project scopes and workstreams are fully defined.
Skills & Requirements
- Demonstrated experience designing UX for digital products or complex workflows.
- Advanced skills in interaction design, flow logic, wireframing, and prototyping.
- The ability to translate service-level thinking into detailed, user-centred experiences.
- Experience with data-intensive, enterprise, or governance-related products (preferred).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate confidently within multidisciplinary teams.
- Comfort working with evolving requirements and ambiguous briefs.
- A strong preference is given to candidates who have previously worked alongside familiar teammates in pods or squads.
