Role Overview
The position centres on translating user requirements into clear, engaging design solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting seamless user journeys and aesthetically refined interfaces. Their design expertise will be instrumental in shaping concepts into practical, user-friendly products that the development team can effectively implement.
Core Responsibilities
- Interpret and analyse user requirements to develop streamlined user journeys and thoughtfully designed, user-centric interfaces.
- Produce detailed user scenarios, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to support interface design and functionality.
- Work closely with the Product Manager and/or Creative Director on research initiatives, concept development, and prototyping of innovative user experiences.
- Clearly articulate design concepts and present final deliverables to both internal teams and senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding.
- Generate visual design assets and compile comprehensive style and usage guidelines to ensure consistent implementation across platforms.
Skills & Requirements
- Excellent copywriting skills in English
- Familiarity with working within design systems
- Experience analysing user journeys
- Strong knowledge of colour theory and typography
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Demonstrates dedication, enthusiasm, and a good sense of humour
- Access to a Mac with Figma installed, or a preference for using Figma
