Job Overview

The company is seeking an experienced TikTok Ads Specialist to oversee and scale paid campaigns, prioritizing tangible performance outcomes such as booked calls, qualified leads, and purchases. This role focuses on driving conversions, rather than brand awareness or simple post promotion. The ideal candidate will manage the entire campaign lifecycle, from setting up account structures and testing creative assets to scaling and optimizing for optimal results.

Core Responsibilities

  • Build, manage, and optimise TikTok Ads campaigns with conversion-focused objectives.
  • Structure campaigns effectively across campaign, ad group, and creative levels.
  • Launch and iterate creative tests using UGC and native TikTok formats.
  • Monitor performance and optimise campaigns based on CPA, ROAS, and conversion volume.
  • Identify top-performing creatives and scale them efficiently without raising acquisition costs.
  • Detect creative fatigue and proactively rotate ad concepts.
  • Ensure accurate pixel tracking, event setup, and attribution.
  • Collaborate with content creators and editors, providing clear creative direction.
  • Produce weekly performance reports with actionable insights.

Skills & Requirements

  • Proven experience managing TikTok Ads accounts focused on conversions.
  • Demonstrated ability to scale campaigns profitably.
  • Strong understanding of Spark Ads and non-Spark Ads use cases.
  • Proficient in TikTok Ads Manager, including learning phase behaviour and budget pacing.
  • Skilled in analysing key metrics such as CPA, hook retention, ROAS, and CTR.
  • Experience with lead generation funnels, booking flows, or e-commerce checkouts.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to make rapid, data-driven optimisation decisions.

What You Must Already Know

  • Hands-on experience with TikTok advertising; training on fundamentals will not be provided.
  • Ability to structure ad accounts for optimal performance.
  • Skilled at identifying, testing, and scaling winning creatives.
  • Experience managing creative testing efficiently.
  • Ability to interpret performance data beyond surface-level metrics.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with creative teams and produce high-converting ads.

Who This Role Is Not For

This role is not suited for candidates without direct TikTok Ads management experience, brand-only or influencer-only marketers, media buyers who rely solely on automation without analysis, or those uncomfortable being held accountable for campaign results.

Performance Metrics

Success in this role will be evaluated based on:

  • Cost per lead or cost per booked call
  • Conversion volume and consistency
  • Return on ad spend (where applicable)
  • Speed and quality of testing and iteration
  • Ability to scale spend while maintaining efficiency
