Job Overview

The organisation is looking for a creative and strategically minded Social Media Manager/Content Creator to lead the development of compelling digital content and elevate its online presence. This role requires an individual with strong storytelling abilities, an eye for design, and a solid grasp of social media strategy. The successful candidate will understand how to drive engagement, boost brand awareness, and create content that resonates with diverse audiences.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop, produce, and distribute high-quality content across multiple social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others.
  • Craft engaging captions, blog articles, and marketing copy tailored to the brand’s voice and goals.
  • Oversee social media interactions by monitoring channels, responding to comments and messages, and fostering strong community engagement.
  • Analyse performance metrics and refine content strategies based on data-driven insights.
  • Remain informed about emerging social media trends, platform changes, and industry best practices.
  • Work closely with marketing and design teams to support and implement campaign initiatives.

Skills & Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience working as a Content Creator or Social Media Manager.
  • Strong proficiency in graphic design and video editing tools such as Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut, and similar platforms.
  • Exceptional writing, communication, and storytelling capabilities.
  • Solid understanding of social media analytics, reporting tools, and performance measurement.
  • A highly creative mindset paired with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently and maintain consistent productivity.
  • Proven experience developing social media strategies and expanding a brand’s digital presence.

Additional Information

Position: Social Media Manager / Content Creator
Location: South Africa (Remote, aligned with US working hours)
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Compensation: Monthly salary
