Job Overview
Digi-Guru is looking for a vibrant, creative, and detail-oriented Social Media Coordinator to join its dynamic team on a full-time basis, following a hybrid schedule with at least two office days per week. This role is hands-on and creative, requiring the individual to design, create, schedule, and manage content across client brands, bringing each brand to life through storytelling, current trends, and a consistent visual identity.
The ideal candidate is passionate about social media, adept at spotting trends, and skilled at transforming ideas into engaging, scroll-stopping visuals.
Core Responsibilities
- Plan, create, and schedule engaging content across multiple social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
- Manage day-to-day posting, monitor community engagement, and respond to followers/messages.
- Analyse and report on performance metrics, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Research current trends, competitor activity, and audience insights to ensure content remains fresh and impactful.
- Collaborate with the team on campaign concepts, creative briefs, and content calendars.
- Ensure all content is accurate, polished, and aligned with brand voice and client expectations.
- Attend client shoots to capture behind-the-scenes, lifestyle, and UGC-style content.
- Confidently direct clients during shoots, bringing energy and creativity to every production.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised with the ability to multitask efficiently.
- Capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
- Creative thinker with a keen eye for design.
- Proficient with creative tools such as Canva, CapCut, Filmora, ChatGPT, or similar platforms; Adobe skills are an advantage.
- Familiarity with project management and team collaboration tools such as Monday.com, ClickUp, or similar platforms is advantageous.
- Owns a reliable laptop and smartphone capable of supporting design tools, scheduling apps, and daily social media tasks.
- Access to a fast and stable internet connection.
- Possession of a driver’s licence and personal transport is advantageous.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or related field (certificate, diploma, or degree).
- Minimum of 2 years proven experience in digital marketing or social media management, with agency experience considered an advantage.
